The Investment Committee reduced the minimum investment into Versus Real Estate Fund (VCMIX) from $50,000 to $25,000. Up to 50% of our real estate target will be invested in Versus. Versus is unique in that it provides investors with access to both global private and global public real estate equity and debt through a diverse group of institutional managers while providing quarterly liquidity. Versus focuses on investment managers who have a commitment to property stewardship compatible with providing property and property-related services that enhance productivity and the overall well-being of the users of commercial space, with minimum negative externalities to the broader local and global community.
Each of the underlying institutional managers in Versus is a member of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), an industry-driven organization that assesses, tracks and reports on the sustainability performance of real estate portfolios around the globe. The current distribution yield for the fund is 5.0%.
